Microsoft Technology Evangelist

Location: Indonesia

Mitrais currently has over 150 Microsoft Software Developers and is planning to recruit 20+ more this year to meet growing customer demand. Most are assigned to leading edge technology projects and we also have a large team supporting one of Australia’s largest technology companies using state of the art Agile techniques.
Last year we created a Technology Evangelist role for our .NET practise and now we wish to recruit an additional Microsoft Technology Evangelist.
You will be the go to person to keep a primary pulse on the wants and needs of our Java developer community. You should be excited to share what we are building in our rapidly evolving platform and be able to drive engagement and enthusiasm with the broader developer community.

Requirements:
  • Understand the mindset of a Microsoft developer and be able to put yourself in their shoes
  • Provide first level of support to developers regarding issues, bugs, or questions
  • Ability to take complex ideas and simplify them for developers unfamiliar with concepts of our platform or of Healthcare systems
  • Own the Mitrais Microsoft Support Slack team and communicate with potentially 150+ developers
  • Participate in meetups, hackathons, forums, blogs, social media, etc to provide information to and gather feedback from the broader developer community
  • A passion for understanding and helping developers and the pain points of developing on an unfamiliar platform
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience reading and writing code within a complex code base with real world production usage, especially building on a third party web APIs
  • Hands on experience writing code in C# and C, especially on server side development
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially regarding technical content for an audience of developers
  • Comfortable with quickly context switching between multiple developers and their projects without losing information
  • Experience working with existing large developer ecosystems and platforms highly regarded
  • Experience with service based architecture, microservices, distributed systems highly regarded
  • Familiar with the latest .NET Technology

When we find qualified candidates who have undergone tests and interviews but are subsequently not hired for the position, we then place them in our Talent Pool.
